DOWN FOR FALL

    This has been a pretty packed week, but with all things fall related which makes me one happy girl.

At work we had a pumpkin carving contest, party pig sadly did not come out on top although she did in our hearts. We also had a costume contest, and not to toot our own horns but the winners...uugh uumm...Christal, Lyna and myself totally rocked it.  Yes, we went as the movie up, and you might be saying, " seen it" but have you ever seen a more perfect old man Karl, or a cuter Russel I think not. I was the house decked with balloons and all if you did not get that already.

    This weekend is packed with even more Halloween fun with pumpkin carving, apple cider sippin' at Oak Glenn, costume party and hopefully more homemade pumpkin bread. Yes it is good to be in Fall.

     We also went to a family Halloween party Rick went as Darth Vader again lol and I went as sushi it was a little last minute :).

OUR WORLD: SCOTLAND

          I love Great Britain very much it is very close to my heart. While living on the other side of the pond one place I would have loved to have been able to travel to is  Scotland, but I never got the opportunity. Scotland seems full of love and life. A place we could cuddle up next to a warm fireplace while the weather freezes outside, and still have laughs all night.

ETSY FIND: COCO DE PARIS

     I was browsing through Etsy when I came across this fantastically quirky, but amazing artist. Her shop is call Coco De Paris and the paintings are wonderful. I would love to have some of these whimsical prints in my kitchen, hallway, or kids rooms one day. They are smaller in size but there is no harm in ordering a few more to make a collage. Check our her Etsy page I think you will be impressed.

I LOVE OLIOBOARD

    I have been working hard at making different design boards on my new program, Olioboard.This is entryway I created which I would love to have in our future house. I really love all the artwork and 

the bright colors. They are still a little rough around the edges, but this is only my second board I have made on this program so bare with me!

   P.S. I want to put it out there that as I am just starting my journey in interior decorating

I would appreciate all the practice I could get. I would love to extend an invitation to those

OUR WORLD: BAHAMAS

I know I have not been updating my OUR WORLD posts, but I was looking for a good website to make 

easy mood boards, and I found it, Olioboard.

I was inspired by the Bahamas as that actually will be our next destination spot we will be heading to in January. We decided to post pone our New Zealand trip for a bit so to feed our travel bug we will be taking a trip to visit family in N. Carolina ,and a short cruise to the bahamas in January.

ONE LONG WEEKEND

We are going up to Big Bear for this glorious three day weekend!

I am not the savviest with the whole blog thing so I can not figure out why my images for the 

past week have not been showing. If any of you know what could be going on, and want to shoot me a little message I would LOVE IT! Sorry again it has been pretty boring around this neck of the woods lately!

ONE AMAZING BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

This past weekend was my husband's 27th birthday. I had a few tricks up my sleeve, I LOVE SURPRISING HIM!!  Saturday night we made it down to N. Hollywood and hit up this amazing sushi/ entertainment restaurant called, Tokyo Delves. The theme was Night at the Delvesbery, which if you know my husband that theme worked our perfectly!!

well I had a great video but blogger does not like me right now!! 

           Then Sunday we met up with some family and did a little indoor go kart racing that too was a blast. All of the boys zipped around the track with ease, while Sara, Rick's sister, and myself took the more leisurely route!! She did better then I did we all got ranked and I came in last, 9th place, ha I think they wanted to put me in an even lower ranking, but there was only 9 people racing! We all hit up The Hat after for some grubbage then found our way back home.

    We took monday off to just relax and be with one another, plus nothing is better then a long three day birthday weekend. Tonight we will have some friends and family over to celebrate, which will be the perfect ending to the perfect weekend!!
