        My latest flavor of the week has been the cool website Chictopia. I love how fashion and interior decorating go hand in hand. Looking at some amazing outfits with the colors and textures can completely inspire an entire room design for me and vice versa. Some of these ladies have some serious style,and here are a few of my favorites!

THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

    In my family this is the time of the year we get real pumped. We love Christmas it has always been a a time of great laughs and memories. I never want to forget however what it really is all about, the celebration of the birth of Jesus. He was born so we could live. He came here on earth just to save us from our sins, I could not think of a better reason to celebrate.

    Go enjoy yourself with all the shopping, decorating and gift giving, I know I will, but never forget to take the time to sit back and remember the real reason for the season.

    Oh and here is a little Christmas eye candy! ENJOY!

SISTERLY LOVE

     About two weeks ago one of my best friends and sister, Amber got engaged to her now fiance Chris.
The entire family is thrilled, and I can not wait to start my duties as Maid of Honor and start planning. I loved planning my wedding and I can not wait to get creative, searching blogs, looking up ideas and making mood boards this is right up my ally. I will be posting updates at a later date maybe some ideas nothing final of course that can not been seen until the wedding!

 2. you can also do a pop of color mustard yellow not only good on hotdogs

COLOR ME HAPPY

  I was browsing on Design sponge and I found this stunning home. I love the color combos in this home: fuchsia, red, pinks mixed in with natural textures and mission style doors...SWOON! I will stop talking and let the pictures speak for themselves.

EYE CANDY FOR FALL

       I have tons to be thankful for. We heard some bad news this past week that my grandma was 

diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. Thank the Lord they caught it early, but still something to keep in your prayers. Here are some cheerful fall pictures that sure make me feel better I hope it does the same to you!

I love my dachshund, Bebop and apparently there are a lot of other dachshund lovers out there to.

I was looking around Pinterest and saw some pictures that other dashshund lovers posted, and I have share them. Sorry if you are not as much of a fan as I am, but maybe after you see some of these

DOWN FOR FALL

    This has been a pretty packed week, but with all things fall related which makes me one happy girl.

At work we had a pumpkin carving contest, party pig sadly did not come out on top although she did in our hearts. We also had a costume contest, and not to toot our own horns but the winners...uugh uumm...Christal, Lyna and myself totally rocked it.  Yes, we went as the movie up, and you might be saying, " seen it" but have you ever seen a more perfect old man Karl, or a cuter Russel I think not. I was the house decked with balloons and all if you did not get that already.

    This weekend is packed with even more Halloween fun with pumpkin carving, apple cider sippin' at Oak Glenn, costume party and hopefully more homemade pumpkin bread. Yes it is good to be in Fall.

     We also went to a family Halloween party Rick went as Darth Vader again lol and I went as sushi it was a little last minute :).

OUR WORLD: SCOTLAND

          I love Great Britain very much it is very close to my heart. While living on the other side of the pond one place I would have loved to have been able to travel to is  Scotland, but I never got the opportunity. Scotland seems full of love and life. A place we could cuddle up next to a warm fireplace while the weather freezes outside, and still have laughs all night.
